In this class, we’ll explore the different types of lace commonly used in bespoke wigmaking and lace customization.You’ll learn the differences between popular lace options, how lace impacts realism and durability, and why selecting the appropriate lace is one of the most important decisions in the wigmaking process. We’ll also discuss how lace selection can influence the overall look, feel, and longevity of a bespoke lace wig.
MINI-CLASS THREE:
Let’s Talk About Hair
Inside this lesson, you’ll learn about the different types of hair used to create high-end bespoke lace wigs. We’ll discuss hair textures, hair quality, density considerations, and the characteristics that separate premium hair from lower-quality alternatives. You’ll also gain a better understanding of how hair selection influences the final look, movement, and overall luxury of a custom wig.

Introduction to Ventilating
In this lesson, you’ll be introduced to ventilating, the foundational skill behind realistic hairlines, lace customization, and bespoke wigmaking. You’ll discover what ventilating is, why it is considered one of the most valuable skills in traditional wigmaking, and how artisans use it to create natural-looking hairlines and customized lace pieces. This lesson will give you a deeper understanding of the craft before you begin practicing the technique yourself.

Ventilating Single Knots
Inside this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of creating single knots, one of the most important techniques used in bespoke wigmaking. We’ll walk through the purpose of single knots and how to set up your wig block to begin practicing your first knots.
